A compact cross body suitable for fabric, cork, or vinyl. Great for domestic machines and can be made for women or men. Perfect for today’s environment.

Features

  • An easy method for adding a zip on the curve.
  • A front pocket for masks
  • A pocket engineered to hold a mini hand sanitizer bottle
  • Large zip pocket to back
  • Inside pockets for phone and pens
  • Templates for cute Pixie zip pullers
  • Generous main compartment that comfortably fits your wallet, phone, kindle and keys
  • Adjustable cross body strap

Perfect for carrying all today’s essentials;

We are not carrying too much around at the moment, but we do need somewhere to keep sanitizer and masks handy. Phone bag a bit too small? Cross body a bit too big? This is the perfect happy medium

Finished size 21 x 15 cm (8 ¼ x 6”).

Skill level: Moderate

Think you can’t make a zip on the curve – now you can, we attach it straight then bend the fabric round – it’s a really easy zip insertion method.

Makes an ideal man-bag too!

Suitable for any light to medium weight fabrics – Quilt weight cottons, canvas, cork, vinyl, denim even waxed canvas.

I loved sewing this bag. Your directions were great! I always get so confused when I’m reading a pattern and that didn’t happen this time! The bag is super cute and I’m ready to make more of them!

  2. Diane Johnson

Amazing pattern. Great instructions, as are all Spencer Ogg patterns.
I have now just started my second pixie bag.
Buy it, you wont be disappointed!

  3. AMANDA S DAVIES

Fantastic pattern – I’ve made 5 so far.!The instructions and video make it easy to follow every step ! Everyone’s getting one for Christmas – the perfect size for both men and women .

  4. Diane Scarrott

This pattern is amazing. I have been making bags for 8 years and I have never made a bag this way. It’s so cleverly designed it left no awkward top stitching or difficult areas to sew. This pattern inspired me to buy more of Diane’s patterns and I can honestly say Spencer Ogg Patterns are now part of my top 3 go to’s when looking for a pattern to make.

  5. Kenna

I have made 4 of this wonderful Pixie pattern. This is one of those patterns that you follow #spenceroggpatterns step-by-step and it will turn out BEAUTIFUL! Don’t try to skip around – trust her process and you will end up with a fabulous crossbody/sling. It is just perfect for a “grab-and-go” bag. It’s a very handy bag to own and use. I highly recommend the #pixie if you enjoy sewing and learning something new.
