An amazing compact purse that has everything you need in a handy small size:

A rear coupon pocket
2 large compartments for notes
A generous zipped coin section
Credit card slots, each one large enough to hold numerous cards – can be added to both back and front of interior
Options for a plain or panelled body and a wrist strap
With gussets to the side to allow the wallet to open wide for ease of use.

The flap closure means it secure and fashionable – the pattern comes with instructions for different closures including a regular magnetic clasp, a half-moon clasp and a twist lock, but you can use all sorts of feature fasteners.

You will need:

¹_/3 m ( ¹_/3yd) Outer fabric – Quilt weight cotton or cork, don’t use anything heavier.
35 cm (0.4 yd) Lining – Quilt weight cottons.
½ m (½ yard) Medium fusible interlining – Woven or non-woven. eg Vilene F220, G700 or Pellon SF101.
28 cm square (11” square) extra firm stabiliser one sided fusible – Decovil Heavy or Pellon F71.
Zip 7” or longer – No 3 nylon zip.
Choose a clasp – A. magnetic clasp shallow depth ½“ (6mm), B. twist lock or C. half- moon clasp – I used Emmaline.
All Purpose thread to match outer.
Optional: To add a wrist strap you will need 1 x ½” D ring and 1 x ½” swivel clasp
